I wrote a piece of music today, which I haven't done since college. It was nice to get away for a little while, even though I was only getting 'away' by writing. I didn't practice it, but just sort of wrote it with the notes in my head. I'm afraid to play it and it turns out horrible. In my head the notes work perfectly, but they might sound weird to the ear. I suppose I'll just keep them on the paper so that they won't be ruined. If it is a pretty piece, though, it'd be nice to hear it. This is a predicament indeed.
